    Role Overview

    Identity Automation is seeking a Security Systems Administrator to protect our systems and data from internal and external threats.  This role will be responsible for working across departments to ensure that security systems and processes are working and to reduce the organization’s operational risks.  

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with internal customers to define requirements, design architecture, develop business rules, implement solutions and perform knowledge transfer training
    • Enforce current security policies and procedures
    • Create and implement new security policies and procedures
    • Lead the response to any security events, document events appropriately and provide remediation
    • Provide expert guidance on security concerns, issues, and trends
    • Lead security awareness training and maintain the efficacy of the training curriculum

     

    Skills

    • Demonstrable experience with security tools
      • SIEM tools (Graylog, etc)
      • Static Code analysis (Checkmarx, etc)
      • SaaS/cloud monitoring (Cloudsploit, etc)
      • Vulnerability scanners
    • Ability to explain complex technical solutions at both the technical, business user and executive level
    • Experience architecting and deploying complex solutions
    • Deep operating system and application development AND/OR scripting knowledge
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Proven ability to write and maintain process documentation

    Qualifications

    Experience & Certifications

    • At least 8 years of practical hands-on technical experience
    • Industry Security certifications (CEH, CISM, CISSP, etc)
    • Leadership in compliance certification (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, etc)
    • Deep Understanding of security laws/regulations (SOX, FISMA, FERPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc)
    • Penetration testing and Vulnerability scanning

      • Austin, TX, Boise ID, or remote for the right candidate
