    We are currently looking for a strong front-end JavaScript developer.   Preference for mid-to-senior level developer, but willing to consider strong junior candidates.  The role is within an Agile team to deliver a responsive user interface with an emphasis on customer usability.   Our products are deployed on AWS cloud and customer premises.

    Remote employees, those outside of the Houston and Austin areas, will work from home remotely. Houston and Austin-based employees will work from offices in those areas.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement web applications using EmberJS
    • Write responsive, clean front-end for use on various browsers and devices
    • Interact with various back-end sources, such as REST APIs
    • Work with the Identity Automation engineering team to support and maintain existing production code in the field and develop and deliver new enhancements and products for our client base
    • Work with management on implementing functional requirements of our various applications

    Qualifications

     

    • Prefer 3-5 years front-end software development experience
    • Junior developers that can demonstrate strong JavaScript knowledge will be considered
    • Experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks, EmberJS experience preferred
    • Be adept with modern web best practices (HTML5, CSS/Sass)
    • Be able to apply JavaScript testing methodologies
    • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities
    • Working knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodologies
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a major in CS, CIS, MIS, Mathematics or Engineering
