Identity Automation, is growing and has openings for full-time Services Engineers. Services Engineer’s contribute to the company’s continued success by implementing identity management solutions for our customers. Identity Automation's Engineers are trusted advisers contributing to the building of solutions and demonstrating by championing the customer’s needs throughout an engagement. The Services Engineer’s chief role is to implement solutions and provide up-sell and cross-sell information to the sales team.

  • Work closely with customers to define requirements, design architecture, develop business rules, implement solution and perform knowledge transfer training
  • Participate in pre-sales engineering calls
  • Provide input for sales proposals
  • Research problems using online and printed resources
  • Produce weekly time and status reports
  • Follow administrative tasks to completeness
  • up to 25% travel



  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions at both the technical, business user and executive level
  • Experience architecting and deploying complex solutions
  • Deep operating system and application development AND/OR scripting knowledge
  • Understanding of business process mapping, data flow diagrams, flowcharts and other analyst tools
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Active involvement in the open source and free software communities
    • Knowledge of any of the following languages C/C++/Visual C, XML, J2EE, HTML, .NET(VB or C#), PHP, Perl, Java, Python, etc
    • Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux server command line tools (BASH, PowerShell, etc.)


  • At least 5 years of practical hands-on technical experience
  • One or more Multi Factor Authentication technologies
  • Deep understanding of Windows Server technology
  • Experience with PKI
  • One or more SSO technologies
  • Understanding of Radius
  • One or more password management technologies
  • One or more Directory Services (eDirectory, Active Directory, etc.)
  • One or more Linux and/or UNIX Operating Systems
  • Operating system scripting
  • One or more database technologies (MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL, etc)
  • Familiarity with virtualization technology (VMWare, Xen, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting (AWS preferred)
  • General API knowledge (REST, SOAP, etc)
