We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to validate software releases against a matrix of supported hardware and develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.  The job requires a mid-to-senior level QA engineer to work within an Agile team to deliver products that emphasize security and customer usability.   Our products deploy into AWS cloud and customer premises.

Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer, you will:

  • Maintain a suite of supported hardware devices such as fingerprint readers, Bluetooth devices, card readers to regress against new software releases
  • Define and perform test plans kept in TestRail
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, record document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Work within the Identity Automation engineering Scrum teams to support and test existing production code in the field and qualify and deliver new enhancements and products for our client base
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Working knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodologies
  • Working knowledge of MAC OSX, Windows Server and Client OS, MS SQL, VMware, and VirtualBox
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a major in CS, CIS, MIS, Mathematics or Engineering
